In this role, you’ll guide financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and deliver accurate, timely reporting that drives business decisions. • Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Strong, working knowledge of financial accounting systems and control environments, and well-developed financial analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of long-term contract accounting and corresponding revenue recognition very helpful but not required
• ERP experience required;
  Microsoft SL experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements and recommendations
• Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate personnel in order to balance and build functional accounting team; must have the ability to manage a small staff, while still working autonomously
• Must be an independent worker while contributing to a team environment
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills required to manage multiple tasks
• Must work well in a fast-paced and high volume environment
• A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation
• Must possess leadership skills and attributes, and have the ability to work with and successfully with other departments and leaders
