• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met
• Maintain and operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to keep flooring in excellent condition
• Assist with custodial responsibilities like replenishing supplies and ensuring restrooms are stocked and sanitized regularly
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean environment that complies with all regulations

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
• Previous porter or maintenance roles that involved cleaning and building upkeep are advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during daytime hours
