We are currently seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Healthcare Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Healthcare Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of various healthcare equipment, systems, and facilities. Your expertise will contribute towards creating a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

What You Will Do
  • Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of healthcare equipment and systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform routine repairs and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or failures in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and healthcare professionals to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials and equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and industry standards in healthcare maintenance to provide effective and efficient services.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a healthcare or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare equipment, systems, and industry codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work on‑call or in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
