Job Details Responsibilities
  • As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting attorneys in the preparation for hearings, trials, and depositions.
  • Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, and appeals.
  • Coordinating and managing the attorney's calendar, including scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
  • Conducting client interviews and maintaining general contact with the client, ensuring they are kept informed of case progress.
  • Conducting legal research and investigations as required.
  • Managing the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Utilizing eFile system to file court documents electronically.
  • Coordinating with expert witnesses and managing evidence.
  • Assisting in the preparation of settlement agreements.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal.
  • Proven experience in hearings, preparing legal documents, depositions, eFiling, calendar management, and discovery.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent research and report-writing skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
