Overview
Burr & Forman LLP has an immediate opening in its Fort Lauderdale,
Orlando,
or Tampa, FL office for a litigation associate in its Financial Services Litigation Practice Group
. This position requires a J.D. degree and membership in the Florida Bar. This candidate should have three or more years of litigation experience, and a federal clerkship is preferred. Burr will consider various types of litigation experience. Quality candidates will be self-starters with great client service skills, strong academic credentials, as well as strong research, writing, organizational and analytical skills.
Candidates must be qualified to practice law in Tennessee, and qualifications to practice law in other states is preferred but not required. - Provide litigation services in the Financial Services Litigation Practice Group; demonstrate strong research, writing, organizational and analytical skills as a self-starter with excellent client service.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to maintaining high professional standards and client relationships.
- Engage in mentoring opportunities and pursue long-term advancement within the firm.
- J.D. degree and membership in the Florida Bar.
- Three or more years of litigation experience; federal clerkship is preferred.
- Qualified to practice law in Tennessee; qualifications to practice law in other states are preferred but not required.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, organizational and analytical skills.
