The RoleThe Associate Immigration Attorney independently manages complex immigration cases, from administrative hearings (EOIR, USCIS) to federal litigation. You’ll provide outstanding client representation, clear strategy, and strong case planning, while keeping clients informed and supported at every step.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct client consultations and manage immigration case workload.
- Represent clients at EOIR procedures, hearings, and in federal courts.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive immigration filings (visas, naturalization, asylum, work permits, etc.).
- Supervise paralegals, legal assistants, and case managers.
- Conduct detailed legal research and draft compelling arguments.
- Provide clear, frequent, and supportive client communications.
- Stay current on immigration law developments and educate clients accordingly.
- Fluent bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish)
- Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a client-centered approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- JD degree
- Admission to any Florida State Bar
- 5+ years of immigration law experience
- Immigration court litigation experience
