Overview
The United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida (SDFL) is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in our Border and Immigration Crimes Enforcement (BICE) Section in the Office's Criminal Division. Our District has offices located in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Fort Pierce. When applying, please note in your cover letter which office location you are interested in.
Required Qualifications- Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), and have at least 1 year post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.
- United States citizenship is required.
- You must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of this announcement.
- Applicants should possess superior oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the capacity to function in a highly demanding environment with minimal guidance.
- The successful candidate should have strong academic credentials and at least 3 years of post J.D. experience.
