Role Overview

Apple One Employment Services is seeking an experienced Construction & Real Estate Attorney to join its leadership team. The role involves overseeing legal matters across a wide range of real estate and infrastructure projects, including planning, construction management, public works, transportation, and housing. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of legal expertise and strategic insight to support large-scale community projects while ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risk.

Compensation

Base pay range: $/yr — $/yr.

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal counsel on construction, real estate, and infrastructure development initiatives.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, permits, intergovernmental agreements, and other complex legal documents.
  • Advise on land use, permitting, and development regulations.
  • Partner with department directors and executive leadership to assess risk, ensure compliance, and guide decision-making.
  • Oversee business permits, construction contracts, and cooperative agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal legal and executive teams to align legal strategy with organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Florida Bar, authorized to practice in Florida.
  • 3–5+ years of legal experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure law.
  • Strong command of contract law, land use, and development regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document systems.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License and flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with tribal law, public agencies, or government entities.
  • Background in municipal or public real estate development and construction law.
