Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Salesforce development team, including developers, administrators, and technical contributors.
- Oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of Salesforce projects, ensuring delivery aligns with business goals and timelines.
- Partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and product owners to define Salesforce strategy, roadmap, and platform improvements.
- Translate business objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions and guide the team through solution design and implementation.
- Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, governance policies, and best practices across the organization.
- Manage technical architecture decisions to ensure long term platform scalability, security, and performance.
- Oversee integrations between Salesforce and third party or internal systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to developers to maintain high quality development standards.
- Manage deployment processes, release cycles, and environment strategy using version control and Dev Ops tools.
- Coordinate cross functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and IT leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee data management and migration initiatives including governance, quality standards, and validation processes.
- Monitor platform performance, address system issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Maintain documentation for architecture, system processes, and development standards.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership, team lead, or management capacity.
- Proven experience managing Salesforce development teams and large-scale Salesforce implementations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform capabilities, and enterprise system integrations.
- Experience with Salesforce development including Apex, Lightning components, and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture including profiles, roles, and permission structures.
- Experience with version control systems, deployment strategies, and Dev Ops processes.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Architect certifications, or other relevant Salesforce credentials.
- Experience leading Salesforce implementations for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, or similar solutions.
- Experience managing development within Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service Lightning.
