Location: Miami/ Ft Lauderdale (Field-based – travel between store locations)
Job Type: Full-time
This is a hands‑on IT support role focused on providing basic hardware and software support to multiple retail store locations. The technician will travel daily between stores in the Linden and Paterson region to resolve technical issues and support store operations.
- This is an on-the-road / field support role covering multiple store locations.
- Candidate must use their personal vehicle (fuel, parking, and toll expenses will be reimbursed).
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (not basic or conversational — fluent communication required).
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support issues at assigned store locations.
- Travel daily between stores to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems onsite.
- Process service tickets and maintain work logs for reported issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
. - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams when needed.
- Perform scheduled hardware or software upgrades and installations.
- Desktop/laptop setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Basic network equipment support (routers, switches, access points).
- Software support (Windows, Microsoft Office, SAP applications, retail systems).
- Zebra handheld devices, barcode scanners, and label/network printers.
- Wireless peripherals and store technology systems.
- Provide basic training to store staff on hardware and software usage.
- Support store operations by ensuring systems are functioning properly.
- Salary: $55,000 annually (26 pay periods) with annual performance reviews and potential merit increases
