Salesforce Architect

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Salesforce Architect to lead the technical direction of our Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for defining the overall architecture, setting technical standards, and ensuring that Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise strategy. As a subject matter expert, you will guide cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and engage directly with senior stakeholders to

• Define and own the end-to-end Salesforce architecture across multiple clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Mule Soft, etc.).
• Establish architectural standards, best practices, governance frameworks, and design patterns for the Salesforce platform.
• Lead discovery and design workshops with business stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Evaluate build‑vs‑buy decisions, assessing App Exchange solutions and third‑party integrations against custom development.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight across development teams, conducting design reviews and ensuring alignment with the target architecture.
• Architect complex integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems (ERP, data warehouses, marketing platforms) using APIs, event‑driven architecture, and middleware.
• Design and oversee data architecture, data governance, and master data management strategies within Salesforce.
• Guide platform governance: manage org complexity, technical debt reduction, and release management strategy.
• Identify and address performance, scalability, and security risks proactively.
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership and business stakeholders, presenting architectural options, trade‑offs, and recommendations.
• Evaluate and plan Salesforce release upgrades, assessing impact and opportunities for the organization.
• Mentor and coach Salesforce developers and junior architects, fostering technical growth within the team.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3 years in an architect or technical lead role.

• Experience with Salesforce Platform governance and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Platform or comparable enterprise integration tools.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein AI/Analytics, and Tableau CRM.
• Experience leading Salesforce implementations in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government).
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) as it relates to Salesforce integrations and security.
