The Senior Data Engineer is a technical authority and hands‑on contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and pipelines that support the organization's data analytics, business intelligence, and operational reporting needs.

In addition to enabling advanced analytics, the Senior Data Engineer plays a critical role in architecting and implementing integrations between disparate systems, including internal platforms, vendor solutions, and external services, to create seamless and efficient data flows across the organization's enterprise architecture ecosystem. The Senior Data Engineer serves as both an individual contributor and technical mentor, working closely with data analysts, data engineers, business intelligence teams, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, high‑quality data delivery.

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, effective, and scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from multiple source systems.
• Architect and implement solutions within a data warehouse environment, including data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain a cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Create and maintain data models (dimensional, relational) that support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
• Build robust, reusable data pipelines that ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across the organization.

• Design, develop, and maintain customized integrations to enable seamless data flows across all systems within the enterprise architecture.
• Develop source-to-target mappings and maintain comprehensive data lineage documentation.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to validate business domains, ensure data quality, and identify data anomalies.
• Implement data validation frameworks and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work with stakeholders to understand source system data models and translate technical data structures into business-friendly formats.
• Manage vendor data integrations and establish secure data access protocols, including external API connections and third‑party service integrations.

• Elicit, interpret, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple business units.
• Act as liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
• Partner with Data Analysts and Business Intelligence teams to support Power BI reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Participate in data model reviews, architecture discussions, and solution design sessions to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise on data usage, metadata standards, and best practices.
