Role Overview: The organization is initiating a full-suite implementation of Oracle Cloud/Fusion and is seeking an internal Project Manager to collaborate with the systems integrator. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of Oracle Financials, who are skilled at managing large-scale system implementations. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of solutions that align with the organization’s financial goals.
Strong communication skills, coupled with an ability to navigate complex financial systems, will be key to bridging the gap between technical execution and business needs.
- Lead and manage all phases of the Oracle Cloud/Fusion implementation lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on time and within scope.
- Collaborate closely with the systems integrator and internal teams to drive project execution and resolve issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of training and documentation to ensure smooth system adoption across the organization.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, ensuring that the project stays within budget and meets all key deliverables.
- 8+ years of IT project management experience
- Oracle Cloud/Fusion implementation experience as a project manager
- Strong experience with Oracle Financials modules (e.g., Financial Accounting Hub, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Procurement)
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems integration
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive project timelines, deliverables, and manage risks
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud, specifically in the areas of GL, AR, AP, and FA
- Previous experience in a project management role within the financial services or enterprise resource planning (ERP) space
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience managing both onshore and offshore teams
