Job Description
As a Field IT Support Technician, you will perform onsite installation and maintenance support for a variety of computer equipment, printers, and specialized Key Control equipment. Each technician is provided with a company vehicle that is used to travel to customer sites. Other duties include maintaining an inventory of repair parts and documenting your work through our service tracking system.
Hardware you will work with:
- Application Servers
- PCs
- Cabling
- Switches
- Printers
- Routers
- Fiber Converters
- Scanners
Requirements
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Must be able to attend a paid training class in Texas.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
- Good communication skills.
- Customer service experience.
- A+ and/or Network+ certification is a plus.
- Ability to travel, with hotel stays, up to 25% of the time.
- Technical associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of technical experience (hardware/networking).
