Associate, Operational Continuity & Compliance

Join KPMG US in the Digital Nexus Technology team to help lead and support compliance initiatives across operations and user access management. This role combines data analytics, risk assessment, regulatory documentation, and stakeholder collaboration to strengthen our compliance framework.

• Lead and support compliance initiatives, including audit and monitoring activities, corrective action plan management, and advanced data analytics.
• Oversee and continuously improve user access management processes, ensuring alignment with internal policies and industry best practices for access provisioning, periodic access reviews, and privileged account management.
• Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses to identify potential compliance gaps, escalating issues as appropriate, and driving effective remediation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all compliance matters, including corrective action plans, issue summaries, and executive reports, ensuring clarity, traceability, and regulatory readiness.
• Leverage advanced analytical and research skills to proactively identify emerging risks and recommend enhancements to compliance and access management frameworks, coordinating and supporting internal and external audit activities, serving as subject‑matter expert on compliance and user access controls.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement, and ensuring timely communication of compliance requirements and changes to relevant parties.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

• Minimum one year of recent experience in data analysis, compliance, and user access management, preferably within regulated environments.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, cybersecurity, business administration, or related fields preferred.
• Proficiency with SQL, Databricks (Azure), Alteryx, Power BI, and experience with SharePoint and Power Apps for automating compliance operations.
• Strong project management and time management skills, including the ability to create and maintain project timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex compliance requirements, keen attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving, and experience designing, managing, and optimizing digital work spaces and business processes to support compliance and access management operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
