The role of the Housekeeping Team Member is to ensure that the hotel rooms, common areas, and equipment are clean and in good working order. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Team Member will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning of hotel rooms, common areas, hallways, and other designated areas to established standards.
• Change bedding and towels in hotel rooms and suites.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and showers.
• Ensure cleaning products are used safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Clean windows and mirrors in hotel rooms and common areas.
• Empty trash cans and ensure waste is disposed of appropriately.
• Report necessary repairs and replacements to the Head Housekeeper.
• Adhere to hotel safety policies and emergency procedures.
• Adhere to deadlines for cleaning work.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and products.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team or independently.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Good physical condition to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of English is an asset.
