Fort Lauderdale Hotel – Opening in Fall 2025, Omni Fort Lauderdale will provide South Florida with 120,000 sq ft of event space, new food and beverage options, a natural‑spring inspired full‑service spa, and entertainment pedestrian plaza featuring high‑end shopping, amphitheater, charter‑boat docking and a beautiful promenade. The new iconic landmark offers unforgettable views of the Atlantic with unrivalled convenience, and intelligent meeting spaces.
The hotel will be directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center, adjacent to Port Everglades cruise terminal, and less than two miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport.
The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29‑story hotel, located at 1850 Eisenhower Blvd and connected to the Broward County Convention Center. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a rooftop bar, a pool, spa and fitness center. It includes over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre‑function meeting space with waterfront view.
The Lobby Attendant will service and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas—including public and associate restrooms, lobby floors, banquet space, and executive offices—according to Omni Standards.
- Ensure the hotel lobbies are serviced throughout the day.
- Service all public restrooms in lobby, convention, and pool areas.
- Service the executive offices.
- Service men's and women's associate locker rooms.
- Service lobby and lower‑lobby pre‑function space.
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby, convention, outdoor, and all other public areas.
- Keep main guest entrance neat, clean, and presentable.
- Keep floral arrangements and plants neat with no debris.
- Keep ash urns and trash bins neat and clean.
- Maintain water fountain and phone stations neat, clean.
- Service guest and associate elevators.
- Ensure hotel, guests, and associates are in a safe, secure environment.
- Complete special projects that may be assigned.
- Report maintenance issues or concerns.
- Offer assistance and information to guests.
- Able to maintain a 4‑Diamond level of service.
- Able to work with management on special projects.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 lb without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or full shift.
- Requires repetitive motion of arms, hands, and back.
- Phone, push‑to‑talk radio, cart, vacuum, mop, broom, duster and chemicals.
