Revenue Manager – Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach

Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach is looking for a Revenue Manager to join their amazing team. This luxurious oceanfront retreat offers 290 rooms, an expansive pool terrace with private cabanas, a 6th floor fitness center, a tranquil boutique spa, over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and five food and beverage outlets, including a restaurant, pool side grill, cocktail lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

In this role, you will strategically manage group and transient business thresholds to optimize demand and availability. You will develop and execute pricing strategies, manage inventory, and analyze market trends to drive profitability and growth.

What will I be doing? Manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls
  • Daily review and implementation of room accommodation and rate inventory controls in Netrez / OnQ PMS and OnQ RMS, including weekly roll-in controls
  • Ensure group inventory and cut-off dates are managed according to demand
  • Implement blackout dates in Netrez / OnQ and review monthly for needed adjustments
  • Work with Director of Front Office to ensure sell‑out strategies are in place, balancing OnQ PMS / Netrez daily
  • Ensure OnQ FMS and General Ledger are balanced daily relative to past actuals
Develop, monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies
  • Conduct weekly Revenue Management Meeting evaluating booking periods for proper rate and availability control
  • Provide synopsis of results vs. decisions from the previous week, leading discussion on booking pace, pricing strategies, marketing opportunities, and competitive environment
  • Daily review of Delphi/DMPE reports (GRC, Backlog Report, Daily Transaction reports, Overrides report) and coordinate action plans with Director of Sales
  • Develop annual transient pricing and ensure consistency across all distribution channels (Netrez/OnQ PMS, GDS, Internet)
Provide critical analysis of strategies, room statistics, and demand factors
  • Review end‑of‑month room statistics reports (FMS, Monthly Revenue Management Reports, STAR, HILSMART, Key Hotel Marketing Reports, Report of Operations) and analyze performance vs. forecasts
  • Conduct displacement analysis of group business to assess RevPAR impact
  • Review all tentative and definite group bookings to ensure alignment with strategies
  • Complete weekly booking pace reports and recommend strategy changes when needed
  • Analyze past and present trends to recommend future strategies
Forecasting
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, rolling forecasts and annual budget using OnQ RMS, Excel, OnQ FMS, Delphi/DMPE, and Netrez/OnQ PMS
Competitive and demand analysis
  • Review competitor shops weekly, identifying selling strategies and market trends
  • Review demand calendars, convention calendars, and city event calendars
  • Maintain historical data on events and performance of any promotions during demand‑generating events
