Night Auditor (11pm - 7:30am Shift) ($16 per hour)
The Wurzak Hotel Group is seeking a skilled Night Auditor to manage all aspects of hotel guest accommodation at the Dalmar & Element hotel in downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Pay RangeThe base pay is $16.00 per hour. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities- Perform all check‑in and check‑out tasks.
- Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in the system.
- Respond promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if a guest request cannot be met.
- Complete the pass‑on log whenever a complaint is reported.
- Maintain all areas of the front desk.
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
- Register guests, collecting necessary information such as contact details and exact dates of their stay.
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.
- Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
- Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished.
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
- Cover other areas of the hotel as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Night Auditor, Receptionist, or similar role.
- Experience with hotel reservations software such as Lightspeed & EMPOWER GXP.
- Customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
