Overview

Director - Rehabilitation Services at Holy Cross Health Fl

Responsibilities
  • Oversee outpatient rehabilitation department operations, clinical strategies, and patient care to ensure high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered services.
  • Manage and train staff; develop evidence-based therapy programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; manage budgets and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure supervision compliance with applicable policies, laws, and reporting mechanisms (including the corporate compliance hotline).
  • Lead planning, direction, and coordination of patient care activities to deliver quality care aligned with Standards of Excellence and Mission and Philosophy.
  • Foster positive, professional communication among associates and departments; supervise personnel fairly and consistently.
  • Assist with purchasing procedures and maintenance of equipment; develop and oversee departmental budgets, operational, and capital plans.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required;
    Master's Degree in clinical specialty or business preferred (CAHME accreditation preferred).
  • Clinical degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (CAPTE) preferred with current state license to practice.
  • Minimum of five years of management experience in an allied health field, with at least two years at leadership level; minimum ten years clinical experience in the specified discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations pertaining to outpatient rehabilitation; strong written and oral communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office; understanding of healthcare business including financial management and data analysis.
