Occupational Therapist (Full Time: Inpatient Rehab)

Shift: 10:30am-7:00pm
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients with thoroughness and efficiency, including appropriate tests and measurements.
- Set functional, realistic, and measurable goals and demonstrate patient achievement of those goals.
- Design a functional treatment plan reflecting prescribed therapy and applicable reimbursement issues.
- Re-evaluate and discharge patients within appropriate time frames.
- Ensure all patient records are complete, compliant with departmental standards, and charted on day of treatment.
- Reconcile patient charges at the end of each day to ensure accuracy, maintain statistical data and PI monitors up to date.
- Participate in discharge planning, recommend follow-up care when indicated, including outpatient therapy, re-evaluation, and home care.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
- Current National Occupational Therapy Certification/Registration and Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida.
