Substance Abuse Clinician Masters Level

Overview

House of Hope, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced master’s level clinician who demonstrates empathy, compassion, effective communication, professionalism all while having the ability to build a rapport with the clients served to join our team! As a master’s level clinician with House of Hope, knowledge regarding individuals with both substance abuse and mental health illness is required.

• Develop and implement treatment plans and treatment plan updates with clients.
• Timely completion of Biopsychosocial with clients.
• Provide education and orientation to clients.
• Facilitate counseling groups.
• Provide crisis intervention.
• Instrumental in the treatment, transition, and discharge/aftercare planning of clients.
• Provide appropriate chart documentation utilizing industry accepted standards while following company policy and procedures.

• 60-hour master’s degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling) required.
• Two (2) years of experience working in the field of addiction and or mental health required.
• Experience working with the substance abuse population preferred.
• Ability to positively interact with individuals and facilitate groups.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Computer literate.
