Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $/yr
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Accounting Manager to support key functions within our finance, compliance, and operations teams. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax and insurance requirements, and smooth coordination of IT and operational functions. The ideal candidate will be analytical, tech‑savvy, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across departments.
Key Responsibilities- CAM Reconciliations: Review and analyze Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations for accuracy and compliance with lease terms.
- Tax Return Review: Assist in reviewing property and business‑level tax returns in coordination with external accountants.
- Insurance Management: Manage insurance policies across properties and operations, track renewals and claims, and ensure appropriate coverage levels.
- Budget Preparation: Collaborate with property and asset management teams to develop and maintain annual budgets.
- Sales Tax Review: Ensure compliance with sales tax obligations and review filings as needed.
- IT Management: Oversee basic IT operations, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure that the appropriate technology infrastructure is in place.
- Commission Invoice Preparation: Prepare and track commission invoices for brokers, agents, and sales teams in a timely and accurate manner.
- Quarterly Reporting: Compile, analyze, and present quarterly financial and operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, property management, or operations roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Experience in CAM reconciliations and real estate accounting is required.
