We're looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst to manage multi‑state, federal, and local payroll tax compliance across our large, in‑house payroll operation. What You’ll Do- Prepare and file payroll tax returns; manage payments and resolve tax notices
- Reconcile liability accounts and support quarterly and annual tax filings (W‑2s, 941s, 1042s)
- Research and apply payroll tax laws across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure accurate garnishment, levy processing, and non‑resident tax compliance
- Partner with internal teams on audits, compliance, and system updates
- Develop and refine payroll tax policies, procedures, and documentation
- Associate's degree required (Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred)
- 4 to 6 years of payroll experience with multi‑state and federal tax filings
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, tax laws, garnishment regulations, and payroll systems
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and deadline accountability
- Experience with Banner ERP is a plus
