About the Role

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing accurate reports, and developing forecasts that guide effective decision-making and ensure smooth financial operations. This role supports the organization’s mission by promoting financial transparency, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing insights that strengthen the success of partner healthcare companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and report on financial performance across revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures through monthly reporting packages
  • Identify and investigate variances against forecasts, budgets, and prior-year results; incorporate insights from key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to deliver meaningful financial results and support data-driven decision-making
  • Partner with leadership on long-term financial planning to align resources with growth and service expansion
  • Contribute to development of financial policies and recommend process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy
  • Support the annual budgeting process and update forecast models to reflect changes, new clinics/openings, and new service offerings
  • Manage competing priorities and timelines to ensure timely monthly financial reporting
  • Ensure all financial documentation is accurate, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards
  • Develop and model ad hoc financial scenarios to reveal risks and opportunities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required)
  • 1-3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with financial or statistical software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a broader business perspective
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements
  • Healthcare industry experience (preferred); experience with large datasets or data visualization tools (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
