Student Account Analyst - Inactive

Location:
Pompano Beach, FL
Salary: $17.10 - $19.80 per hour
Responsibilities- Audit, process, and monitor student account functions including withdrawal calculations.
- Review graduate student accounts for accuracy, compliance, and closure.
- Review credit balances for inactive student accounts to bring them to a zero balance.
- Audit inactive student accounts to determine if an R2T4 calculation is required based on Federal Regulations, complete calculations, and process refunds within required timelines.
- Audit graduate student accounts to ensure accuracy, verify fund eligibility, and process refunds to meet Federal Regulations.
- Ensure credit balances of all inactive student accounts are cleared within the required federal timelines.
- Collaborate with campuses and other departments to resolve outstanding issues.
- Provide support to campuses regarding withdrawal calculations and refund processes.
- Address and discuss regulatory compliance issues with the Student Account Manager.
- Review VA documents in Schooldocs and communicate with Certifying Officials, RPO, and Military Affairs team regarding missing or corrected documentation.
- Open VA mail, stamp them, log them in the VA master spreadsheet, and scan the letter in Schooldoc.
- Associate's Degree and/or at least 2 years of finance, accounting, or business experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Preferred: experience in the education industry, bilingual English/Spanish, and ability to start immediately.
- Financial Aid experience helpful.
- Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and spreadsheets.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Campus management experience helpful.
8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Occasional overtime required with management approval. Occasional Saturdays during audit and special projects.
