Civil-Site Design Engineer

Ross Engineering, Inc. is a civil engineering company serving Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward counties. With offices located in Davie and Miami, Florida, we specialize in land development, civil engineering design, Stormwater modeling, groundwater modeling, environmental resource permitting, and construction engineering. Our expertise also includes environmental engineering, wetland science, planning, and inspection services.

This is a full‑time "in‑office" role for a Civil‑Site Project Engineer located in the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County area. This individual will be utilizing their Civil‑3D and ICPR (Storm Wise) skills on Civil‑Site projects for Broward County, specifically the Broward County Water and Wastewater PFAS Removal for WTP‑1A and WTP‑2A. The Civil‑Site Design Engineer will work with DTM surfaces, plans and profiles, cross‑sections, quantities, specifications, stormwater modeling, and supporting drainage calculations, permitting with regulatory agencies, bidding and overseeing construction activities.

• 5+ years of Civil‑Site Design & Permitting
• Experience in conducting inspections and expeditor tasks
• Management skills with staff
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is optional
• Strong experience in land development and environmental resource permitting is required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without a Visa sponsorship
• Must have local South Florida engineering experience
