Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to lead electrical engineering operations within a growing MEP design team in Fort Lauderdale. This leadership role requires deep expertise in electrical system design and department-level project oversight.
The selected candidate will guide technical execution while ensuring code compliance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical system design from concept through construction support.
- Prepare and review load calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and engineering performance.
- Ensure NEC and Florida code compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and support departmental growth.
- Provide construction‑phase services and client‑facing leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of MEP electrical design experience.
- Active Florida PE license (required).
- Advanced Revit and CAD experience.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience managing complex, high‑rise developments.
