district structures design engineer – district four / transportation development / consultant project management / structures

this position will direct and supervise the structures section in the administration of all in‑house staff and consultants, including preparation and review of plans for simple and complicated bridges and miscellaneous structures, development of plans for damaged bridge repairs, miscellaneous structure modifications during construction, fender systems for bascule bridges, the review and approval of all shop drawings for in‑house designed projects, etc.

This position will also serve as liaison with federal, state and local agencies and/or elected officials as required, to expedite the development, review, and coordination of all phases of a project to advance the project to implementation.
