Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Technician based out of Ft Lauderdale FL.
This is a Higher Travel role (50%, both domestic and international)
Compensation: $/hour +Travel: up to 50%, domestic and international What You Will Do:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain power conversion units that connect shore power to ships (primarily large Yachts over 100 million in purchase price). This is a customer-facing, mission-critical role, highly rewarding for those who thrive in dynamic environments. Will report to the Global Customer Service Manager.
- Respond to customer service requests by phone, email and on-site.
- Travel domestically and internationally to troubleshoot, start up, and repair systems.
Work Experience:
- Must have at least 4 years of Active Duty US Military experience
- 2+ years experience with 3-phase power systems (military backgrounds in aircraft, shipboard power, radar, avionics, or AGE strongly align)
- Associate degree in electronics, or Equivalent military electronics/electrical training (Air Force AGE, Navy Electricians, Army Aviation Electronics, Marine Corps Avionics, Coast Guard Electrical/Engineering)
- Ability to read and apply electrical schematics for troubleshooting
- Strong adaptability and willingness to travel (up to 50%, domestic and international)
- Valid driver’s license and U.S. passport
