This role is hybrid based in Weston, FL, with the expectation to come into the office 3‑4 days a week.

• Lead and mentor teams in the design and development of complex electrical components, subsystems, and systems for medical robotics.
• Architect complex systems and guide key design trade‑off decisions across multiple disciplines.
• Translate user needs into system‑level requirements, design inputs, and architectural layouts.
• Provide expert technical guidance to resolve complex electrical system issues and troubleshoot robotic platform challenges.
• Integrate new technologies through prototyping, testing, and technical feasibility assessments.
• Act as a divisional expert in applying medical device standards and reviewing design documentation (e.g., DHF).
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to develop technical strategies aligned to clinical needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
• 8+ years of work experience.

• Advanced expertise in PCB/PCBA design, schematic capture, and understanding of EMI/EMC considerations.
• Proficiency with industry‑leading PCB layout and schematic tools, plus experience with signal integrity and power circuit design.
• Strong understanding of mechatronics concepts, motor control (BDC/BLDC), sensors, actuators, and common industrial bus systems.
• Ability to apply advanced circuit and electrical system test methods, manufacturing methods, and system‑level integration.
• Experience with tools such as Altium, and familiarity with Jama, Jira, or similar requirements/issue‑tracking systems.
