Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Generator Technician based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with some remote work flexibility. The Technician will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of power generators. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining detailed service logs. Collaboration with the technical and non-technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction will also be essential.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of generator systems, mechanical operations, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Skills in electrical systems, wiring, diagnostics, and repairs
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Capability to perform preventative maintenance, servicing, and inspections
- Understanding of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to worksites as needed
- Previous experience in generator maintenance or a related field preferred
- Relevant certifications or vocational training in generator systems or electrical maintenance is a plus
