Primary Purpose
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences.

Essential Job Functions
- Prepare and deliver instruction to students in the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences.
- Facilitate activities in the classroom and/or laboratory.
- Act as a liaison between the students and the Faculty Course Coordinator, Program Director, and/or Chair.
- Provide and facilitate examinations. May include assigning grades consistent with course requirements.
- Teach or facilitate classes based on varied schedules to accommodate diverse student needs and to meet the expectations of the College.
- Follow the course curriculum as assigned.
- Prepare assignments as necessary.
- Evaluate student performance and learning as assigned.
- Maintain an active classroom environment conducive to student learning and success.
- Adjuncts working in the laboratories may also engage in patient or healthcare professional role play, small group discussions, and skill facilitation.
- Required to complete NSU mandatory trainings. For example, HIPAA compliance, technology training, Canvas training, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by either the Program Director, Chair, or Faculty Course Coordinator.
