Your role is to ensure our "3 Promises" reach every learner in your group and to train our Guides to achieve the same.
What You Will Be Doing- Coaching and preparing Guides to facilitate Alpha's workshops at a world-class standard
- Building Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, designing engaging learning experiences, and addressing common challenges
- Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that drives higher student engagement and performance
- Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating exemplary mentorship and motivational techniques
- Creating lesson plans – your Guides support student learning via adaptive applications; you concentrate on training them to become outstanding motivators
- Compromising on standards – when our passing threshold is 100%, your role is to uphold that expectation
- Conducting dull training sessions – you'll develop Guides through dynamic, high-impact, interactive learning
Key Responsibilities
Train Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort enjoys school, progresses at 2× speed, and develops essential life skills. No exceptions.
Basic Requirements- Currently based in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at an Alpha Campus (Bathesda, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA)
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field
- Proven track record of designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training strategies
- Excellent leadership and coaching abilities with experience building, leading, and energizing high-performing teams
- Background working with young people (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
- Skilled in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and foster ongoing improvement
- Authorized to work legally in the United States

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
