As an Accounting & Finance Intern, you will support the accounting team to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

This internship offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, documentation, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in preparing financial and audit documentation.

* Analyze and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

* Support the identification and resolution of discrepancies in financial records.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline audit processes.

* Conduct research on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

* Participate in internal control assessments and risk evaluations.

* Prepare reports and presentations for audit readiness reviews.

* Prepare PO trackers for the FL schools by incorporating budget amounts for controllable expense.

* Assist with uploading school budgets to the Epicenter.

* Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

* Help with preparing reports for monthly or quarterly financial reviews.

* Assist with populating formulas in accounting software to support the updating of financial forecasts.
