Primary PurposeThe College of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University is seeking adjunct faculty to assist with the clinical and didactic training of dental students under the direction of the Department Chair of the Department of Orthodontics.

Essential Job FunctionsRequired Certifications/Licensures: Based on education and credentials
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge- Dental Medicine – Comprehensive knowledge of the information/techniques needed in Dental Medicine, including symptoms and treatment planning.
- Education/Training – Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum/training design/teaching for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
- English Language – Thorough knowledge of the structure/content of the English language, including meaning and spelling, grammar and composition.
- Customer Service – General knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including needs assessment, quality standards, and user satisfaction evaluation.
- Instructing – Teaching others how to do something.
- Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.
- Judgment/Decision Making – Considering costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
