• Implement provided lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Supervise students and maintain classroom discipline.
• Assist other school staff as needed.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
• Take attendance and maintain accurate records.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and abilities.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
• Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behavior.
• Participate in before and after-school duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff when necessary.

• High school diploma or higher (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Valid state teaching license or substitute teaching certificate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively and maintain discipline
• Flexibility and adaptability to various teaching assignments and grade levels
• Patience and enthusiasm for working with students
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
• Experience working with diverse student populations (preferred)
• Ability to follow and implement lesson plans
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to undergo background checks and fingerprinting as required by the school district
