ECT and Inpatient Adult
Location:
Fort Lauderdale, FL
Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a behavioral healthcare facility in South Florida that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults suffering from drug addiction, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders. Our fully licensed and accredited private hospital has been providing world-class treatment in a secure and comfortable setting for over 30 years.
Position Overview:
* Role: ECT and Adult Inpatient
* Patient Population:
Adult
* Schedule:
5 days a week, daytime hours.
* Weekend Coverage: 1:6 Saturday/Sunday in-person rounding.
* Weekday Call:
One evening call shift per week by phone only.
* Employment Type:
Full-time employed position, on-site only.
* Additional earnings potential:
Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan.
* EMR:
Cerner
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients.
* Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
* Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
* Conduct ECT procedures and treat Adut Inpatient populations.

* Competitive base salary with Productivity Bonus potential.

Qualifications:
* Education:
M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry with ECT training and experience required for this position.
* Training:
Successful completion of an accredited General Psychiatry residency.
* Licensure:
Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
