Service Department BDC Representative

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service BDC Representative to support our dealership's service department. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for service customers-handling inbound calls, online inquiries, and follow-up communication to schedule service appointments and improve customer retention.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound phone calls, emails, texts, and online service inquiries promptly and professionally
• Schedule service appointments for maintenance, repairs, recalls, and warranty work
• Confirm upcoming service appointments and follow up on missed or declined visits
• Conduct outbound calls to support service campaigns, reminders, and customer retention efforts
• Accurately document customer interactions and appointment details in the CRM/DMS
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and management to ensure a smooth handoff
• Answer general questions related to service scheduling, hours, and dealership processes
• Provide a positive, professional customer experience at every touchpoint

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently
• Basic computer skills and comfort working with CRM systems
• 1 year previous BDC, call center, customer service, or dealership experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
