The Dispatch Coordinator is an essential and multifaceted role in our organization’s operations. They will work with our professional moving crews, compliance personnel and customers.

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organized, socially confident, exude excellent customer service skills, and must be able to multitask. An outstanding candidate should keep all facets of an office running smoothly and ensure all operational responsibilities are being fulfilled while ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Must have 1-3 years operations/dispatch experience

• Planning and coordinating jobs
• Maintaining driver/helper relationships
• Ensuring adequate capacity for job coverage
• Answering the telephone and making follow-up calls
• Fielding customer service inquiries
• Providing ETA updates in company software and making relevant notes in shipment notes
• Monitoring drivers and ensuring that they are following DOT regulations, and documenting/reporting violations of regulations
• Communicating with customers and with customer service about drivers schedule
• Logging and tracking driver locations and activities
