Beour next Project Management / Construction Management Intern
We are seeking a Project Management / Construction Management Intern to join our Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, FL office supporting complex projects across aviation, transportation, building infrastructure, and mission‑critical facilities. You will work alongside experienced project managers, construction managers, and technical leads on real‑world projects that shape communities.
What a day at EXP has in store for you- Support project managers and construction managers with project planning, coordination, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing schedules, meeting minutes, progress reports, and project tracking tools.
- Participate in field walks, inspections, and construction observations with senior staff.
- Help review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project control documents.
- Support budget tracking, cost analysis, and verification of contractor quantities.
- Conduct research on codes, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Assist in maintaining project dashboards, logs, and action item trackers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.
- Provide administrative and technical support across all phases of design and construction.
- At least Sophomore status in an accredited Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related program.
- Strong interest in project management, construction management, or the built environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with scheduling tools or PM software is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.
- Ability to conduct site visits and work in both office and field environments.
- Familiarity with plan reading or construction documents is helpful but not required.
