Lombardi Development LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Superintendent to lead onsite operations for our commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through closeout. This position is ideal for a hands‑on construction leader with at least five years of general contractor experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality builds.
As the onsite leader, you will coordinate trades, manage logistics, maintain schedule adherence, and ensure all work meets Lombardi Development’s high standards for safety, quality, and execution. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):- Participate in turnover meetings with the preconstruction/estimating team prior to project commencement.
- Study and fully understand project plans, scope, materials, vendors, and contract details.
- Interpret contract scope, billing methods, allowances, exclusions, and qualifications to ensure proper field execution.
- Manage all onsite logistics including deliveries, subcontractor coordination, MOT, barricades, temporary fencing, dumpsters, staging areas, material storage, and OSHA compliance.
- Filter and manage field RFIs, escalating to the Project Manager as necessary and ensuring timely follow‑up.
- Monitor and adhere to the published project schedule, communicating changes promptly to the assigned Project Manager.
- Review approved submittals to ensure only authorized materials and equipment are delivered and installed.
- Document and record all change events in Procore to support accurate and timely change order processing.
- Attend and coordinate weekly/bi‑weekly project meetings, OAC meetings, and internal debriefs.
- Coordinate all required inspections including city, county, special inspectors, and financial institution inspections.
- Partner with Project Administration and Supervisors to ensure successful project closeout, including punch list completion, warranty documentation, and final inspections.
- Utilize Procore for all documentation, reporting, collaboration, and information sharing across the project team.
- 5+ years of experience as an onsite Superintendent with a commercial general contractor required.
- Experience in restaurant and bar construction strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple trades simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction sequencing and onsite logistics.
- Proficiency in Procore Construction Software required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to pivot quickly and problem‑solve effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and jobsite compliance.
