Summary:

Oversees and manages the Construction architectural planning, development, and design, including supervision of outside design professionals, (architects, engineers, etc.), and construction projects throughout the Broward Health facilities in order to ensure regulatory guidelines and code compliance resulting in safe, efficient, and attractive facilities. Oversees other managers within the Design and Construction Team to ensure projects are kept on schedule and in full regulatory and quality compliance.

Education:

* Bachelor's degree required.

* Master's degree Architecture, Engineering or Construction preferred.

Experience:

* Ten years of design or construction experience required.

* Specific experience in acute hospital/healthcare design and construction required.

Credentials:

* Current professional license preferred.
