Senior Estimator – South Florida

Join a powerhouse GC that leads the way in K-12, schools, private and higher-education facilities, government buildings, and mixed-use/multi-family developments. With a strong reputation and a robust pipeline of mission-critical projects, this GC is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to drive competitive bids and shape the future of Florida’s community and residential landscapes.

In this senior preconstruction role, you’ll command the estimating process from initial takeoff to final proposal producing precise cost models and strategic analyses that position each project for success. You’ll review drawings and specifications with a sharp eye, identify discrepancies early, and collaborate closely with operations and project teams to ensure every estimate aligns with procurement strategies, scheduling, and field execution.

You’ll also work hand‑in‑hand with local subcontractors and suppliers leveraging strong, established relationships across the K-12, higher education, government, and multi‑family markets to secure accurate pricing and enhance bid competitiveness. Your communication and presentation skills will support internal leadership and client‑facing discussions, driving clarity and confidence at every stage.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in iSqFt, Microsoft Office Suite, online plan rooms, SharePoint, and take‑off software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot and resolve inconsistencies
• Prior estimating experience in K-12, private/higher education, government facilities, and mixed‑use/multi‑family developments
• Established relationships with local subcontractors across the education, government, and residential construction markets
