Superintendent – Healthcare Construction Projects

The Superintendent will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all necessary regulations. The ideal candidate will have specific experience with AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) regulations and healthcare facility construction, particularly hospitals and medical facilities. You will oversee a team of professionals, manage subcontractors, and collaborate closely with clients to meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

• Oversee the daily operations of healthcare construction projects, ensuring projects are completed within deadlines and budget constraints
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with AHCA regulations and healthcare construction guidelines
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and resolve any quality or safety issues promptly
• Maintain project documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and material tracking
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to address project needs and ensure client satisfaction
• Lead, train, and supervise on-site staff, ensuring a safe, productive work environment
• Troubleshoot and solve any challenges to maintain project continuity and prevent delays

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in healthcare construction, specifically with hospitals, clinics, or medical facilities
• Proven knowledge of AHCA regulations and healthcare-specific construction standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing large, complex projects
• Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $135,000
