POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss' Issue Resolution Coordinator serves as the central quarterback for construction-related issue management, ensuring timely identification, escalation, and resolution through structured processes, cross-functional alignment, and disciplined follow-through.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and execute the defined issue-resolution process, ensuring consistency, rigor, and timely progress
Drive the coordination of all deliverables and action items, ensuring responsibilities and deadlines are clear and tracked through to closure
Maintain a business-oriented, program-level perspective to identify systemic risks, interdependencies, and opportunities beyond individual projects
Identify and notify the appropriate functional group(s) promptly when issues arise
Bring in the right subject matter experts as needed, ensuring technical accuracy and effective solutions
Establish and maintain the cadence, structure, and discipline of ACT (Assess, Collaborate, and Troubleshoot) meetings; ensure the right participants are present, flag absences, and reinforce accountability
Provide clear, regular updates on issue status, risks, and next steps to leadership and affected stakeholders
Act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring issues are resolved promptly with minimal disruption to ongoing work
Recognize when issues require higher-level intervention
Escalate without delay and provide leadership with clear, concise options, risks, and implications to enable effective decision-making
Document resolution outcomes, root causes, and lessons learned
Share knowledge back with field teams to prevent recurrence and build organizational capability
Contribute insights to strengthen processes, standards, and tools over time
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (Preferred):
Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related fieldStrong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal - with the ability to adapt style for executives, field teams, and external stakeholders
Relationship management and influence skills to build trust and drive accountability across diverse stakeholders
Conflict resolution and facilitation skills to keep issue resolution discussions constructive and outcome-focused
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to break down complex challenges, identify root causes, and propose actionable solutions
Meeting management skills to establish cadence, ensure attendance, and maintain rigor in follow-up and accountability
