Pride Staff is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our client in the Fort Lauderdale area.The ideal candidate is to perform the material handling and warehouse functions required in the receiving, quality control, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.

Quality Inspectors must have the following qualifications:

  • 1 year minimum in aviation industry experience, in inspecting aircraft parts and paperwork.
  • Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, inventory management tracking, and web-based applications.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload of assigned area, and employees within a multiple project setting.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, customers, vendors, and management.
  • 2 or more years of experience in the warehouse industry, stockroom, and/or material handling.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, speak, understand and follow directions in English.
  • Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

The principal duties and responsibilities of aQuality Inspector include and are not limited to:

  • Review of inbound shipments, and verify traceability and documentation received.
  • Post parts into Pentagon.
  • Perform material handling operations, for example, inventory, shipping and receiving, inspections and tooling, to ensure inventory control and accuracy.
  • Satisfy internal and external customer shipping deadlines.
  • Administer vendor and carrier contracts to ensure the provision of agreed-upon service(s) and/or product(s).
  • Assist the team in resolving complex inventory discrepancies to determine the root causes and develop recommendations for corrective action.
  • Maintain competent knowledge of all customer requirements.
  • Assist with processing drop shipment documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Occasional operation of pallet jacks and forklifts.

Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $18.00
