JobPurpose
As a Receptionist you will serve as the primary reception and information resource for the assigned location by assisting walk‑in traffic and answering telephone inquiries. You will provide supplementary clerical, computer, and operational support to the school, acting as the focal point for the school.
How You Will Impact Education- Leads by example in adherence to CSUSA and school values, acting ethically and promoting teamwork.
- Follows through on duties and projects assigned and participates in training programs to increase skill proficiency.
- Reviews current developments, literature, and technical sources related to job responsibility.
- Follows company policies, federal and state laws, and ensures adherence to safety procedures.
- Consults directly with CSUSA personnel when applicable.
- Greets and directs walk‑in traffic, providing general information and referrals to offices and services as appropriate.
- Answers phone inquiries, providing general information and connecting calls to offices and services.
- Maintains a master guide of activities, events, and related information for the school.
- Performs clerical tasks including scheduling, records maintenance, student attendance tracking, supply check‑in/out, photocopying, typing, data input, mail sorting, file folder creation, fax documents, and email transmission.
- Schedules appointments and meetings, reserving conference rooms, organizing materials, sending notices, arranging catering services, and maintaining calendars.
- Responds to telephone and written requests for school material and general information to parents.
- Maintains confidentiality of records as appropriate.
- Serves as liaison for administrators and teachers.
- Ensures front office organization and stocking of parent information sheets.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies and orders from vendors or bookstores within budget.
- Provides passes to students as appropriate.
- Orients and situates substitute teachers.
- Calls parents on waiting list when a school opening arises.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, with experience in a school office setting highly desired.
- Excellent customer service, organization, time management, and follow‑up skills.
- Professional office presentation and positive attitude, collaborating with others to maintain a pleasant working environment.
- Detail‑oriented, bilingual a plus but not required.
- Commitment to company values, successful criminal and employment background check, ability to take directions, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and consistent performance improvement.
- May perform other duties assigned.

Physical Demands- No physical exertion required.
- Travel within or outside state.
- Light work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
Job is non‑exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
