Position SummaryThe Special Events Coordinator provides essential support in planning, executing, and managing special events, signature public program days, birthday parties and facility rentals.
Responsibilities- Logistics
- Guest and donor relations
- Sponsorship and auction solicitation
- Administrative support
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least one (1) year of experience in event planning, preferably in a nonprofit, cultural, or museum setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Altru, One Cause or similar software preferred.
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with initiative and discretion.
