Primary Purpose
Provides support to management concerning on-campus housing, which includes room assignments, billing of students, as well as the planning, marketing, coordination, and implementation of every aspect of housing assignment process for residential students.

Essential Job Functions
Supports processes and procedures related to Residential Management System in order to support students living on campus.Handles student housing contracts and release processes.Works with the Office of Enrollment and Student Services to ensure that students released from housing have an accurate student account for housing and meal plan charges.Oversees room change requests for students living on campus and provides occupancy reports for residence halls.Cross-trains housing staff members on RMS, Banner, One Drive, Share Drive, and other work-related needs.Creates and continuously updates the housing vacant space, in excel.Oversees the housing consolidation process to decrease university’s debt created by vacant spaces.Provides weekly reports to management for vacant space, housing release, occupancy, and contract summaries.Provides weekly building rosters to support staff during on-call rotations.Manages room selections: rooms swap and wait lists, prior to students moving into their spaces.Answers questions and provides explanations regarding student's accounts/billing, and Residential Life and Housing scholarship recipients.Hosts room selection information sessions for current residents and perspective residents prior to the start of the room selection process.Completes special projects as assigned.Performs other duties as assigned or required.Job Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
KNOWLEDGE:
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as knowledge and understanding of organization structure, workflow, and operating procedures.Clerical - Thorough knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.SKILLS:
Speaking - Proficient skills in talking to others to convey information effectively.Writing - Proficient skills in communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.Complex Problem Solving – Proficient skills in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.Persuasion - Advanced skills in persuading others to change their minds or behavior.Service Orientation - Advanced skills in actively looking for ways to help people.Expert data entry and typing skills; ability to enter and verify information with accuracy.ABILITIES:
